'The Force is with you.'
'You don't know the power of the dark side.'
'Don't make me destroy you.'
'Your powers are weak.'
'There is no escape.'

This voice changer features the helmet, mask, and chest plate that made the very image of Darth Vader an icon. The helmet is adjustable to fit all head sizes, from age 5 to adult. Includes 3x 'AA' batteries.

Editorial Review:
With just the donning of this helmet you too may command the powers of the Dark Side! Or, at least, you’ll take on the role of the most notorious scourge the Jedi have ever known: Darth Vader. Once you’ve put on this perfect replica of Vader’s trademark mask and chest plate you’ll find yourself in command of not just his tell-tale breathing and five actual movie quotes but also the ability to speak in Darth Vader’s menacing voice. The helmet itself is constructed of hard plastic and can be adjusted to comfortably fit children to young adults (though older adults may be unable to get the mask on). The attached chest plate lets you command the sound effects with just the touch of a button. This unit not only comes with full instructions but also batteries so you’re ready to go right out of the box. In no time you'll be striking fear into the hearts of do-gooders everywhere! --Chip Quinn

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Cool Infact ...
This Helmet, with sounds in the chest-box...is cool it deserves the money you spend on it....nice to play One size fit all Adult and Children....ti's not a real voice changer but it's one of the best helmets os the Star Wars Saga

My son got so many toys this Christmas. This is by far his favorite! This is so fun that even the grown up are walking around using the mask. Everyone wants to do the Darth Vader voice. This is just the best thing out there.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * Looks really cool! ...
My son wore this for Halloween and it really made his costume look great!
It was a little heavy for walking around the neighborhood, but great for a party. He continues to enjoy it.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - * i'm now of the dark side ...
darth vader, one of the most prominent villains in the entertainment world, can now be you! hasbro's star wars darth vader voice changer helmet makes that possible. toddlers, teenagers, and adults alike can enjoy this toy, thanks to its relatively large size and adjustable belt/strap that can accommodate the largest of faces. no matter what your age is, you can still feel the power of the dark side.

the voice changing apparatus can be set in 3 pitch levels - low, moderate, high. this features enables users with voices of any pitch to sound like darth vader without any problem. having a chipmunk-like voice or one very deep voice won't be stopping you from getting in touch with the dark side.

you can also remove the helmet from the darth vader face mask with ease. so if you ever get tired of being darth vader, you can just wear the helmet and become one of his minions.

one problem with the voice changer though is that those around you would still be able to hear your natural voice coming from your mouth. maybe it's because there are little holes in the mouth area of the helmet that lets air enter the mask so as to prevent suffocation. so if you're planning to fool your friends over the phone, the product might not satisfy your expectations.

overall, regardless of its flaws, still makes one heck of a toy. a must have for any starwars fan.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - * Great toy for your Star Wars fan! ...
I bought this mask for my 6-year old for Halloween, and while I don't think it's the best choice for trick-or-treating, it has been a GREAT toy. All three of my children (ages 8, 6, and 3) have had a blast listening to themselves as "Darth" in the voice changing mode. (The mask has an adjuster strap and fit everyone in our family.) My sons would roll on the floor laughing when their 3-year old sister would say, "You don't know the power of the dark side!" in Darth voice. The "breathing" mode is my favorite, though - it sounds very realistic!

Again, I wouldn't recommend it for trick-or-treating (even though he got numerous compliments from the other "Darths" in the neighborhood), it does make for a good toy. It's not something you'd want to have on your head for an extended period.

On their debut album, 1999's Something About Airplanes, Death Cab for Cutie proved there's a reason why Northwest music critics continue to sing their praises. The foursome combined the emo sounds of Modest Mouse and 764-Hero with an inventive, and often sly, sentimentality. It worked wonders, but still sounded a little too lo-fi. Luckily, on We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes the group has figured out all the production nuances that flawed that auspicious debut. The opening "Title Track" begins by sounding both crappy and shallow, but the band is merely pulling your leg; two minutes later, the tune expands into a gorgeous, well-produced masterpiece. The album never looks back. Ben Gibbard's songwriting continues to evolve--"Company Calls" segues into, what else, the slower "Company Calls Epilogue"--while the simple lyrics of "For What Reason" and "405" tell infectious stories that demand repeated listenings. Proof positive the Northwest is still churning out great music. --Jason Verlinde

The first Black Box Recorder album, 1998's England Made Me, was originally conceived by Auteurs and Baader Meinhof frontman Luke Haines as a typically baleful response to the cultural and political hysteria--respectively, Britpop and Tony Blair--then gripping Britain. Recorded with the help of former Jesus & Mary Chain drummer John Moore and singer Sarah Nixey, it did for Britpop roughly what the film Carrie did for the senior prom. The Facts of Life, the follow-up, maintains the withering glare but fixes it this time on the personal. The songs here obsess with unnerving clarity and mordant wit on the banal, cruel details of human relationships and are narrated perfectly by Nixey. Where her perfectly English-accented whisper infused England Made Me with the air of a bored aristocrat finding contemptuous amusement in the misery of others, on The Facts of Life she has located an edge of taunting viciousness all the more diabolical for being so understated. The tunes, as ever, are sweet and insidious, perhaps best thought of as Saint Etienne turned feral. Highlights on an album full of them are "English Motorway" and "The Art of Driving"--BBR triumphantly reclaiming the American rock & roll prerogative of the road song for their damp, claustrophobic homeland. The Facts of Life is a masterpiece. --Andrew Mueller
